Strange sights and sounds

Today I can hear a strange mechanical sound. And because of it, it think, there is a sweet smell in the air. It might have something to do with that strange, large golden orb in the sky.
Oh my goddness, I think the ancient ones called it the sun! And that sound is the sound of all the lawnmowers turning that jungle into lawn again. That sweet smell is the smell of summer, freshly mowed lawn.
Ahh bliss!
see ya

Aah, Bliss! (she says after going out and crunching through the frozen ice/snow slush and shiveringly comes back inside.)

We have it over here as well - went for drive up into the hills earlier on and it wasn't cold or wet!!

Yes I love the smell of freshly cut grass.....bliss. We haven't had a lot of the rain that is flooding Oz, just a bit here and there and our grass is getting mowed weekly to keep it under control.

I agree there is nothing better than the smell of a freshly mowed lawn. Will be a while before I smell that again!!
