This is a freebie from freecycle. I was looking at some from the trading post and they varied from $300.00 to $450.00. Big savings!

Another freebie from the same people we got the wardrobe from. More space to store future purchases of fabric. Priceless. WIP are on the top in the different bags.

Just another day

Nothing really exciting to blog about. Its just another day in another week. Wonderson has gone to Bendigo this week to spend time with a mate, and do lots of drinking. But I thing it will do him good. He is due back late tonight.
Baby girl has been busy with two part time jobs and helping me, and dear old hubby has been" flat out at work". His words not mine!
Me I have been going from one job to another. I cannot seem to find a flow and get bored very easily these days.
I have three quilts on the go, and a knitting project, and baby girl asked me to make her bestie a pair of slipper socks for her birthday next week, so I have started them as well.
The socks I started a while back have sat in the basket and I cant seem to get the urge to go back to them.
I think it has something to do with the wool, it scratches.
And today I am starting a new BOM, a candle wicking one.
so at least I know in the winter I will be very busy.
I just wish I could just sit down and get some work done.
I must have ants in my pants.

This week I have lost 400grams and another cm from off my middle.
If I lose another kilo I will be under 70kilos for the first time since I was 25. Now that was a long, long time ago.

Tony Ferguson Wk 23

This week I have lost another 600grams and another centermeter from off my tummy. I have a 50th to go to, on saturday so I bought some new cloths.
I am sure photos will be taken so I will post those next week.
It was so easy to find cloths to fit and I bought 4 new items in about 10mins. A record for me!
Normally nothing fits and after looking for hours I come home empty handed. So all in all a good day for me

Here I am again with simone. We had had a few by then. It her nieces 21st and we couldnt believe we were the old ones at the party.

Sewing classes are back

Yep the first class is today. Our Wednesday morning class is a do whatever project you want class. Our wonderful teacher, Estelle, is there to help and guide you. You decided what it is you want to do and how.
I have learnt many new and wonderful things in this class. But I think this year I will also do a block of the month class. As I dont have to be anywhere in particular at any given time, I can do this.
Let the me time begin.
I feel its going to be a good year.

Tony Ferguson Wk22

This week I have finally lost a significant amount. 1.2kilos.
That means I am now over half way.
Only 11.2 kilos to go.
Cathy re my last post. No. No photos. I looked terrible. I think it was you how asked for before and after shots of my weight loss. I really dont have before shots as when you look like the goodyear blimp you tend not to pose for them. I will post a shot as soon as I get into that dress.
It will be the first I will have blogged of me.
I hope it wont be too long until I can get into it.

Silly Me

yesterday hubby and I went fishing for the afternoon. All good some fish were caught and we had a great day.
Till I got home and had a shower. My face was bright red. I had forgotton to put on sunscreen on it. I had covered up everywhere else. I even had on youbeaut sunglasses. So now I look like I am wearing goggles. Around my eyes the skin is white and the rest of my face is beet red.
So now I am feeling very sorry for myself. The kids think its hilarious and keep laughing everytime they look at me.
Well Im glad I can brighten their lives. Good to see they find my pain funny.
HAHA
So I am hiding inside today and putting nutri rich oil on my face.
I will never forget again.

One year on!

Its cold and wet,
sure is different to a couple of days ago.
And very different to a year ago.
On sunday it will be one year since the black saturday bushfires.
Looking outside the window today it is hard to remember the weather conditions that resulted in the horrible day.
I hope and pray that the victims of that disaster will be able to find peace and move on in there lives.
My heart goes out to all affected.

This week I lost another 100grams.
Turns out my fat is as stubborn as me.
But at least it is going down.
I will eventually get to my goal.

CARPET!!!!!!

I cant believe it. I have finally got carpet. After two months!


You cant see it but the carpet is a sage green. Now all I have to do is move in and start sewing.

And this is the view from my window. In the paddock are the cows and the sheep. I will be able to keep an eye on them while I iron my patchwork.

Very excited I am!
