The white mouse

I have just finished watching a movie about an amazing women named Nancy Wake. So was born in New Zealand, moved with her family to australia when she was only 2 years old.
She found herself in France when the second world war began.
She was very involved in the french resistance, and was a huge thorn in the side of the Nazi's. They gave her the code name, the white mouse, because they could not find her.

Nancy Wake was truelly a strong, and couragous women, she died only a few days ago at the age of 98. The world has lost one the best ones.
I dont know why we never learnt about her in school. I wish we had.
RIP nancy and thank you.

I honestly never heard of her, I wonder how many other courageous women there were that changed the scope of the future that we will never hear about - probably tens of thousands.

Nancy's heroism was only recognised by our govt a few years ago, whereas, overseas they honoured her efforts from the start.
A truly amazing woman indeed.
