Baby girl found a lump in her breast about 6 weeks ago. After numerous doctor visits, a scan, and two biopsis, the good news is that it is NOT cancer.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very scary as she is only 17. We have one more visit to the breast specialist to see if it needs to be taken out, but she thinks that is highly unlikely.
Mean while my girlfriend is home after her op and the doctors think that they got all her cancer out. They will still give her chemo just to make sure by her prognosis is good.
So we are thanking the gods this week and hope that all our good news continues.
Wishing you all good new too.

itchy fingers
On sunday we watched gardening australia and saw petes last episode. I think? He was so passionate about his vegie garden dear old hubby got quite motivated and got outside in the very cold and weeded the two raised garden beds ready for spring planting.
Now the only garden out the back that needs weeding is the pretty garden and that wont take all that long.
Its good when things start to happen, Its really starting to feel as though spring is comming now.
We are all getting itchy fingers and feel like they need to get dirty.

60th birthday
Last night we went to a 60th birthday in Lock and stayed at the Lock pub. It was an enjoyable night and the room we stayed in was very nice with the bed being very comfortable.
The pub was built in 1917 and has always been a pub.
Breakfast was eggs on toast with bacon, sausage and grilled tomatoes.
Very yummy!
Enjoyed the break very much but was worried about my animals. Wonder son was home and locked up the chooks and geese last night.
He then let them out this morning and feed all the animals.
What a good boy.

pendulum class
Today I ran a pendulum and chakra clearing workshop and it went very well. I thought I was going to run out of things to say and do, but as my friends know I never run out of things to say.
The three ladies in my class were all in their 50's and they were very nice. We all laughed and had a good time and they learnt alot.
We finished with a guided meditation that I made up as I went and it ended up being a very good one.
They loved it and told me all about the things they saw during their journey.
I will have to write it down and remember it for future ref
All in all a good day

Teaching
Tomorrow I am teaching a class and I am a bit apprehensive. I have taught the class before a long time ago and I have got all the workbooks ready and can remember what it was I did then, but still I worry that I will run out of things to say.
The students have paid a substancial amount to be there and I want them to feel thats it was worth it.
This is just part of the journey, you not only are a student but you are also a teacher.
I just have to believe in myself and that is a very hard lesson for me.
On a brighter note even though its still cold, and the mornings foggy, the sun has started to break through and the days seem bright.
Maybe now I will be in a more happier mood and not so down all the time.

Ponderings
This morning I am feeling about 100 years old. I have not been sleeping and the cold is really settling into my bones.
I looked outside and realised that as the years progress I may not be able to keep up the lifestyle we have chosen.
We are very lucky to have the land we do and it takes alot of effort to maintain it.
No matter how sick or tired you are or how wet or cold it is you have to go and tend the animals.
I know that the problem won't be a major issue for a long time yet but still I ponder these things.
When the time comes will I have the heart to let it all go. 5 acres will be alot to look after when we are in our 70's and 80's. But then again will I live that long.
My girlfriend had her op yesterday and the doctors are very optimistic, so issues of life, death and illness have been on my mind.
A simple life isn't simple, its lots of work and because we have decided to live this way no one else really can help. At least we can go shopping for our friend and she can turn the ducted heating on when shes cold. If we got sick who will plant the vegies, cop the firewood and lock up the chooks everynight.
These are some of the things I am pondering today.

Monday madness
Well we did plant the fruit trees over the weekend, and dear old hubby trimmed the wings on the chooks because they flew into the garden and ate all my pea seedlings that were bigger than just seedlings and even had flowers on them. So no peas this year.
Its been very wet and I would like to ask the universe now to seed her rain to others that need it because we have had enough thank you.
Baby girl starts her dance teaching tonight and she is a little frightend but excited.
Girlfriend has her op today so hopefully tonight the news will be good and all cancer will be removed.
Please stop raining now
see ya
