Today I whent off to get weighed. I have been back on the diet for a week tomorrow.
I was very happy to lose 100grams.
Not alot but it has been 6 weeks since I last lost.
So at least the scales are going down again.

Home again, home again jiggity jig.

Well after flying for nearly two hours we landed at the gold coast. we meet the guy selling the car, did the deal on the side of the road, and we were off again in about 15minutes.
Then two solid days of driving we arrived safe and sound last night at about 9.00pm.
I have not driven home from Queensland for some years now, and the difference between then and now would be my bladder.
I must be getting old as every few hours we needed to stop for me.
It was like having little kids in the car.
Not good.
But now its babygirls birthday, so Im off.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Today I went and visited Leanne in the hospital. She had her op yesterday and she was still groggy and a little sore today. The doctors removed the cancer and took biops of a couple of other tumors. Hopefully they will be fine and they wont have to be removed at a later stage.
We dont know when her chemo will start, but I suppose it will be soon.
Meanwhile, Hubby has purchased a car from Queensland, so tomorrow we will be flying out of melb at 6.00am. We are being meet at the airport by the guy selling the car and then after the deal is done, we will be driving home.
I hope to be back by sunday as its babygirls 19th birthday.
But if not we should be back by monday.
I have already given her, her pressie so all good there.

Tony Ferguson rebooted.

Today I restarted on my diet. I had two weeks off and I did not go in to be weight. I did not know what to expect as even though I had been careful I was not as careful as I should of been.
Easter was the hardest with all that yummy food and of course chocolate!
But I was pleasently surprised to find that I had maintained my weight.
So I start the new round of diet with the same weight I finished at. 72.4 kilos and a waist of 86cm.
So next week should be interesting.

Going within

We had a lovely weekend, eating, drinking and spending time with family and friends.
We also got some work done around place. The chook house was cleaned up and the fruit trees in the front got weeded and had the hay and chook poo put around them.
they are all ready for a winter nap.
Now the back fruit trees need to be weeded and bedded down. They dont require much in the way of food as the geese and chooks do that naturally for us.
Daylight savings has ended and now I really feel myself start to go within myself. The energy is withdrawing and the time of reflection and rest has begun.
I just love winter! if only the weather would now cool off and we can start lighting the fire. Time for hot soups and homemade bread.

HAPPY EASTER!

Yesterday I had a big day of baking ready for easter today. this is the traditional greek easter bread. slightly well done but Im sure it still is yummy to eat.

This is greek cheese and egg pie. A favourite in this family.

Easter Weekend

Well the easter long weekend has begun. Wonderson has travelled to Bendigo with some friends and he arrived safely.
We will be celebrating greek easter at the same time this year, so that means sunday at my parents home.
We will have a traditional Lamb spit and lots of eggs, both chocolate and real coloured ones.
What ever you are doing, drive carefully and stay safe.
