Yesterday dear old hubby and I brought in the rest of the hay.
Final tally for the year.
Hay bales for this year 144
Hay bales left over from last year 15
Total hay bales 159.
This might mean we can raise a calf for the freezer this year!

Just found your blog. My DH would love if we could get a calf or two. Maybe one day we might be able to. I'm working on getting some chickens (layers) this coming spring and I'm very excited! I'm reading anything and everything I can find about raising chickens. Rhonda's blog (down---to---earth) has helped alot and she is one of the bloggers who has inspired me to try raising chickens!
