Make hay while the sun shines

We have had our hay cut again this year. Last year we got 97 bales, but this year being the second year since re-seeding the paddock we hope for more.
we have already put some bales away in the shed. We had 15 bales left from last year and we have already carted 48 bales this year.
we post final tally and a pic as soon as all hay is brought in.
I love bringing in the hay, it means there will be plenty of feed throughout winter, and the chicken coups will be nice and warm.
see ya

mmmm, the smell of fresh hay, makes me dream of summer. It's so strange to think it's summer at the other side of the globe now, but hopeful for us in the mud-after-the-snow here.

Thats exactly how I feel sometimes when I read your post and others from the north. It gets so hot here in summer and to think that you have snow is so bizare.
I wish we got snow.
But hang in there, summer is comming.
