What a great day!
Today I was out all day with My best friend leanne and her sister Mellisa. We saw the movie I love you too. Its the new aussie flick with Megan Gale and Peter Hellier. What a great movie!
I was plesantly surprised as to how much I liked it. Very funny but if you go to see it take tissues as it is a bit of a tearjerker at the end.
I really enjoyed it and recomend it to everyone.
Then we did a bit of shopping, I got some nice things for myself, because I deserve it. Then we had lunch.
It was so much fun to just go out and hang with the girls, we havnt done so for a long time.
Leanne sees the doctor on the 19th and will start chemo soon after so it may be a while before we do a whole day again.

busy little bees
We have been very busy painting and fixing up an investment home we purchased. We got it very cheap as it needed alot of work.
Bedrooms have been painted and new carpet put in. The walls all had holes in them and some of the doors needed replacing.
We have hired an older gentleman to paint the main part of the house as painting has been hard on hubbys shoulders.
No too good on my tennis elbow either. The guy is a friend of my sisters and he works really cheaply.
So today we will be tackling the garden. It has a pond and a rickity bridge that is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I dont fancy having little children around the pond either, it is rather deep.
So when it is ship shape we will rent it out to a nice family hopefully.
Between this and not feeling very well, getting tired easily, I will be glad when the work is done.
For all those in the southern hemisphere, happy belated Halloween and for those in the north, happy beltaine.

I dont feel too good.
My head hurts
my body aches
and I feel like I'v got lead in my shoes.
I dont feel good at all.
Have spent the last two days on the couch, and I really need to vacum, but I just dont have the energy.
I did do laundry and baked a cake yesterday, but to see me do it was like watching bambi trying to walk
very frustrating.
I think I will go back to the couch and watch another dvd

Its monday again!
Boy the weeks are rapidly flying past. April is disapearing and May is closing in fast. The weekend was a busy but restful time. Baby girl left on friday and wont be home again till tonight, and wonderson had yet another 21st to go too. I was all ready for a peaceful weekend with the hubby when Sunday morning wonderson returned with two friends who spent the whole of sunday playing playstation against others around the world on the net. So I was not allowed on the computer for the duration.
So I spent the time in my craft room, finishing my BOM, and my small wall hanging.
It turned out rather well I think, so now I just have to find room to hang it.
Hubby did some weeding, the never ending job, and we all settled down to watch some Biggest loser last night.
Weekend over.
