Last class

Today I am off to the last quilting class for the year. I have bought myself a project to start as soon as my room is finished so I will be kept busy over the holidays.
All my room needs now is the electician to put in the power points, five doubles, Painting and the carpet put in.
Then I can move in!
I will hopefully be able to start the painting in the next day or two.

Today I only lost 100 grams
But I lost 3 cm from my tummy.

Progress Report

progress on the new quilt. It is going well. I am learning lots of new techniques. I really like the way this is turning out. Every week it grows in ways I never imagined. I kind of like that, as usually I am such a control freak.

So a learning curve in many ways.

Today 12 years ago, my brother George decided that the world was too brutal a place to live and so he left to move on.
I still miss him every day.

Today I lost 1.4 kilos
Taking my total to 7.4 to date.
Thats 16.3 pounds in the old weight.
I am very happy

7 months on.

This is pepper and mushroom today. They follow you around and their tummys are so full they look like they are going to bust. But they are friendly and quiet and love company.

This is pepper and mushroom 7 months ago when we first got them. They were only 5 months old then and very timid. The farm we got them from was very dry and it did not have a blade of green grass on it.

They had never seen grass and didn't know what to do with it. Boy how times have changed for them
