sauce pictures





Here are the 6 jars of sauce I made today. Last year I made over 30 jars. Thats what difference the heat has made.

Still better some than none.

We are just getting started on this preserving venture. Our tomatoes flopped this year again, second year running. Our SIL however did grow a big heap so we still managed to get some. We have yet to try sauces, relish or the like in the preserver. I have frozen the excess tomatoes as I wanted to try making pasta sauce.

Your preserves look great. Hope you have better luck with the weather next year.
