a splash of colour

The first jonquils have come up for the year and the bright yellow really stands out in the garden. All this rain has been great but the pretty gardens need weeding and its just to wet and cold to be out there when there is a nice warm fire in here.
The weather has taken a turn with the temp being only a few degrees overnight and not much higher in the day. So we are staying inside and cooking lots of yummy comfort food for the boys to eat when they get home from work each day.
Todays menu will be italian sauages in a herb and garlic sauce but I havnt decided what will accompay them yet, maybe mashed potatoes and roast pumkin and carrots.
Yum
